Joining Voices: Raising Awareness

Flushing Quakers will host “Joining Voices: Raising Awareness,” an interfaith breakfast on Wednesday, December 10, 10AM, at the Friends Meeting House.  The goal is to raise awareness about domestic violence in our community and find ways for faith communities to respond.  The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required via Eventbrite.

The event is sponsored by CONNECT and the Flushing Interfaith Council, and organized and co-sponsored by the Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce, Turning Point for Women & Families, Sikh Center of New York, Flushing Jewish Community Center, Historic St. George’s Church, Center for Ethnic, Racial & Religious Understanding (CERRU) at Queens College, Flushing Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
