Memorial Service for Naomi Paz Greenberg

Naomi Paz Greenberg, an active member of the Religious Society of Friends, passed away on August 7, 2018 after a long illness. Naomi was a founding member of the Flushing Interfaith Council and a leading force in many other organizations devoted to peace and justice. She retained her membership in Flushing Monthly Meeting, but was very active in Morningside Meeting in recent years. A joint committee from Morningside Meeting and Flushing Meeting has been organizing her memorial service. There is an expectation that because of Naomi’s active engagement with peace and justice issues throughout the yearly meeting, the memorial service may be attended by more people than can be accommodated at Flushing. Therefore, the Memorial Meeting will be held at 15th Street Meeting on Saturday, November 17 at 2:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served following the service.

An online obituary where you can write your thoughts about Naomi Paz Greenberg is available via Dignity Memorial.
